Heartwood launches a really exciting all-round wheel for skateboarding. A series that they have chosen to call Royal Rubbers. One day we sat down with a cold one after a great evening session. We started discussing how we wanted our favorite skate wheel. It should be around 32mm wide and with a hardness of 99a to suit all-round skate and still have the grip on different types of asphalt. But most important, affordable. Just a really good wheel, no shit. After our sweaty T-shirts got dried in the warm evening breeze we concluded – we should cut the crap and just do it.
So that's what we did, the rest is history.
