Balance Board is nothing new but has grown stronger in recent years as people have come to realize that there is a great benefit to the technique exercises. Whether you are involved in snowboarding, skating, surfing or just enjoy core and balance training, the Balance Board is a great way to improve your strength and balance. We have previously teamed up with Epic Balance Boards because we really like their products and we also think that the prices are at a good level where you don't have to pay too much.
Today, there are a number of different models that all have slightly different possibilities and challenges.
- For example, you can choose a longer/wider model if you want more to stand on or perhaps prefer to be able to do some board walks?
- You can also choose boards with or without support heels. A safety feature to avoid the risk of slipping off the board too easily, but at the same time a more daring option for those who have got the hang of the technique.
- Other models are of the type “rocker"where you get a slightly curved board to be more reminiscent of snowboarding and partly skating."
- Freestyle models have also appeared that look like a skate for those who prefer to be able to practice some flips and ollies.
- The latest addition to the family has been an elegant board that is shaped like a surfboard, so for those who prefer the water element, this might be your choice.

Anyway, we found a short video where you can see the 25 most common tricks you can do on your Balance Board, for those of you who thought it couldn't get that advanced once you've learned to stand on it. But challenge yourself and see if you can do all 25. The Balance Board is perhaps the obvious choice for those of you who want to train in front of the TV in the evenings or those of you who want to challenge yourself a little extra on your next CrossFit session.
