Lean

All trucks affect the lean of the board when you turn. Some trucks make the board lean more, others less. Lean refers to how much a longboard and truck lean when you turn in a certain radius. Generally speaking, you can say that a truck with a lower truck angle tends to have a lot of lean. How much lean you prefer is a matter of taste. If you want to have tight and solid turns, it can sometimes be nice to ride with a lot of lean on the board in the turns, while in other contexts it can feel wobbly. It largely depends on how your technique and rhythm look when you ride.
