Exway X1 Pro RIOT – The Wait Is Finally Over

Earlier this year we did an article about the Exway X1 Pro where a lot of praise was given for a board that had everything. We have been positively surprised by the feel and performance they have in relation to their price. A fantastic comfortable feeling when riding from the board, the trucks but especially the motors. What was not mentioned then was that Exway had some new innovations in the works. This is what Exway today calls Riot. So what is Riot, you are probably wondering now, eager and curious? Riot is what Exway calls its new belt drive which is an alternative to their hub motors which have so far been the only choice. But now you can choose an upgrade package or if you feel like getting a complete one from scratch.

Why should you have a belt drive instead of a hub drive? You get higher torque, that is, how much the board can handle, very good if there is a lot of slope where you usually ride. Since the motors in this package are not in the hubs of the wheel, you can now replace the rear wheels with most of the ones on the market. This drive package will make some noise when you ride, which does not always have to be a disadvantage. It is nice that fellow road users hear you coming so you don't have to scream, shout or always carry a bell to make yourself heard.

Exway has thought of everyone when it comes to Riot and therefore they are sold as a separate package for those of you who already have an X1 Pro and just want to upgrade. But if you don't already have an electric longboard and you are thinking of investing in one of the most comfortable means of transportation available today, you can now invest in a complete board with Riot already mounted.

 

Now that we have your attention, we can also mention that Exway has released a fast charger for their X1 models. Very practical as it charges a standard X1 in about 35 minutes and an X1 Pro in just over 1 hour. All it takes is a visit to a café, a Tinder date or a little hangout with a buddy and you have a fully charged Exway ready to take you home!
