Automatic country detection

To make our user experience run even smoother we're using an automatic country detection on our page. This function is needed in order to select the correct currency, checkout options and shipping solution. Please advise that if you are using a proxy solution to browse this setting may be corrupt and we may not be able to process your order if the wrong checkout is used for your country.

For countries outside the EU this function will also remove the VAT from all prices/orders. You will be asked to pay your VAT before delivery by your national border control service.

TERMS SWEDEN

We at Boardlife have the ambition to always provide high service to our customers, and therefore we work according to the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us. You must accept these terms and conditions when you make a purchase on Boardlife.se. Boardlife.se is a brand owned by the company Boardlife AB (556815-4370), which means that this is also the legal entity of the brand.

Fulfilling an order

When you have found one or more products you are interested in, add them to your shopping cart. From the shopping cart, you then choose to go to checkout. After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. If you have not received an e-mail after placing your order, you can check that it has not ended up in your junk folder.

When the package has been packed and left with us, we mark it as completed and approve the purchase with Klarna. For those of you who have chosen to pay by invoice, it is only now that your invoice is created and sent to the email you provided when ordering. After this, it will take a few days until you have the package at your nearest post office. You will receive an SMS notification when the package is available for collection.

Delivery

Delivery takes place to your nearest post office or delivery point via a so-called Service Point. You will receive a text message to the mobile number you provided when ordering when the package is available for collection.

If the item is out of stock, we will contact you. Normal delivery time from Boardlife within Sweden is 3-6 working days to your local delivery point. If you want to pick up your items yourself, that is of course fine and you can get them faster. If an ordered item is backordered, we will inform you of the estimated delivery time to approve later delivery or cancel the order. If the delivery time differs significantly between different items, we will split your delivery.
NOTE! To certain locations, as well as for goods delivered by rural postmen, it takes an extra day. Delivery times outside Sweden vary depending on the country.

Shipping fee

For shipping, there is a fixed fee of 59 SEK for Postpaket via DHL to your nearest Service Point (if you do not choose to pick up in store, then it is of course free). Select the desired delivery method in your shopping cart before proceeding to checkout and confirming the purchase. After handing over the goods to the forwarder, the forwarder is responsible for the package before handover/receipt is made by you as the recipient.

Pick up order in store

If you want to avoid shipping costs and get the fastest delivery time, you can select "Pick up in store" when you are in your "shopping cart" on our site. Once the order is approved in Klarna, you can pick up the order the next time we are open (see our current opening hours here).

Track packages

To best track your package, we recommend using the app My Packages. There you can track all packages that someone sends you via DHL, MTD, Instabox, Bring and Budbee. So not just from us but perhaps from more places you shop from. The app is based on the phone number you register, which means that you can track all shipments where this phone number has been specified for notification. Ingeniously simple and easy.

If you don't use the app, you will still receive a notification as soon as your package arrives.

If you do not receive your package within the specified time, you are of course welcome to contact us and we will help you locate the package.

Unclaimed packages

For all packages that are not collected within 14 days (counting from the day you received the SMS notification), your package will automatically be returned to us. We reserve the right to charge the customer 400 SEK for additional shipping costs and extra administration of the order. Your order will be canceled at the same time and the excess amount will be refunded by Klarna.

Should the order amount not reach a total amount of 400 SEK, no refund will be made for the order at all.

When the package reaches us again, the order is closed and if you want the item again, you need to place a new order with a new order number.

 

Prices

All prices are in SEK including VAT. The price that applies is the one stated on the day the customer places their order. Any shipping costs are reported before the customer confirms the purchase. We reserve the right for any price adjustments.

Payment

At Boardlife.se you can choose between several different payment methods. Choose the method and delivery that suits you best when you get to the checkout, before confirming the purchase. Minors (under 18 years of age) are not allowed to make purchases without the consent of a guardian.

Payment methods

We currently accept a number of different payment methods and we work with Klarna for these payment methods. This also means that after the purchase has been made, Klarna owns any claim against you (if the purchase has not already been paid for by direct payment or card).

Short

We accept the most common payment cards, such as Visa, Master/Eurocard, etc. Card payments are made over a secure connection with SSL encryption and are mediated via the Klarna Checkout service.

Klarna Account

The payment method for those who want to choose how much you pay each month. But Klarna account is more than that. In addition to always receiving your goods before you pay, you collect all your purchases in one account. This also applies if you have shopped in several different stores via Klarna account. This means a single invoice, regardless of the number of purchases.

Klarna Invoice

Shop now – pay after delivery! When you pay via Klarna invoice, you shop safely and easily. You never have to give out your card details, and you always pay after you receive your goods.

Direct payment via internet banking

Secure direct payment takes place via your internet bank and you need to be able to log in/identify yourself via the bank to confirm the transaction.

Cash on delivery

We have chosen to remove cash on delivery from our selection of delivery methods as it costs the buyer 50 SEK extra. You can instead choose to buy via invoice and then you can also pay for the item after you have received it. If you still want to order cash on delivery, you can contact us to place an order manually. Cash on delivery means that you pay for your item when you pick it up at your post office.

Cash payment

If you wish to pay for a purchase in cash, we refer you to our store. There you can pay for your purchase with cash, card or Swish. To see our opening hours, you can click here.

 

Shipping fee

For shipping, there is a flat fee of SEK 59 for Postapakket, regardless of weight. Select your desired payment method and delivery method at checkout before confirming your purchase.

If an ordered item is backordered, we will notify you of the estimated delivery time to approve later delivery or cancel the order. If the delivery time differs significantly between different items, we will split your delivery.

Transport damage

If the item is lost or you discover upon receipt that the shipment is damaged in transit, you must immediately report this to your delivery location.

Complaint

If an item is incorrect, defective or misdelivered, you should contact our customer service and create a complaint.

Faulty or damaged goods must be claimed within 14 days. If the claim concerns transport damage, read below about transport damage.

When returning a faulty or damaged item (not damage in transit), the store is responsible for the shipping and any replacement delivery. The item must be returned well packaged and in the original packaging with an attached description of the defect. If the item is damaged or lost when you return it, you are responsible for payment.

Transport damage

If the goods are lost or you discover that the shipment has been damaged in transit upon receipt, you must immediately report this to the delivery point. IF you receive the goods without reporting this, you approve the shipment and responsibility then passes to you as a consumer from the freight forwarder. It is therefore important to note all damage directly on site. The damage report is therefore made where you collect your package.

Right of withdrawal

In addition to the rules in the Distance Contracts Act, the store applies an extended right of withdrawal of 60 days from receipt, without giving any reason. The product must be returned in unused condition and in its original packaging. We do not accept withdrawals on products that have been unpacked or used, as the customer has then approved the product.
Contact us at info@boardlife.se if you are unsure whether you can return your item. The purchase price will be refunded in full no later than 30 days after we have received the item. You as the customer are responsible for the return shipping. Returns may not be made cash on delivery or cash on delivery.

IMPORTANT

If you have chosen to pay your order by invoice, you should check that the payment due date is not passed before we have received the goods back, approved the return and credited it. Otherwise, you risk receiving unnecessary reminder fees. In that case, make sure to pay the invoice within the specified time and you will receive a refund of the purchase price as soon as we have approved the return.

 

Final sale

Boardlife.se reserves the right to change all information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications and product offers, without prior notice. In the event of a final sale at the stated price or due to a sale item being discontinued, Boardlife.se has the right to cancel the purchase and refund any amounts paid in the best possible way. Boardlife.se shall also notify the customer if a replacement or equivalent sale item is available.

 

Force majeure

The store is exempt from penalties for failure to fulfill a certain obligation in this agreement if the failure is based on extenuating circumstances as set out below and the circumstance makes it difficult, prevents or delays fulfillment.

Extenuating circumstances shall be considered to include, among others, action or omission by authorities, new or amended legislation, conflict in the labor market, blockade, strike, fire or flood, sabotage or major accident. Force majeure also includes decisions by authorities that negatively affect the market and products, e.g. restrictions, warnings, sales bans, etc.

We use Oderland.se as a hosting provider for our website. Web security is something we value highly. Through active real-time protection on the website, we monitor it 24/7 for potential attacks and attempted intrusions. security protection

 

Personal data and GDPR

As a visitor to our website, certain information about you or your visit is collected/saved. This includes the following information:

  • Payment & Personal ID.

All users have the right to have their information deleted or adjusted, with the proviso that we must still comply with the Swedish Accounting Act.

Browser cookies

In order to better serve you as a visitor, we use cookies. These are used, among other things, to allow you to keep products in your shopping cart if you have not completed a purchase or to save your details in our checkout if you are a returning visitor. This information is saved in your browser and you can choose to delete this between your visits in your browser settings and history.

IP address

If you choose to interact with us via our chat, your IP number is made visible to us. This is because we can see the country and city of the person we are chatting with. It is linked to the email address you provide. We also see information about which browser or type of device you are using to be able to help you troubleshoot any problems you encounter. For each chat, a transcript is saved together with this information. This information is stored in our account with Zendesk (https://www.zendesk.com/chat/), which is our service provider, for an indefinite period. This information is not exported to another service or location. Please note that your email is only linked to your IP number if you choose to chat with us. At your request, we can delete previous chat history about you and thus clear both previous IP numbers and email addresses.

Google Analytics

We use website analytics through the Google Analytics tool. This helps us see statistics on how visitors use the site. All information collected during a visit is sent to our secure Google account. This information is not printed or otherwise documented in other contexts. The storage period for data linked to cookies, user identifiers or advertising identifiers is 38 months. After that, this type of information is deleted.

Mailchimp

As part of our customer club, we use the newsletter service MailChimp. If you wish to receive our newsletters, you can easily sign up on our site. Your email will then be saved on Mailchimp's servers. Mailchimp is today one of the largest providers of newsletter services. They value security and privacy highly. If you no longer want to continue receiving our letters, you can easily unsubscribe. Mailchimp keeps track of unsubscribed addresses. Your address will therefore be saved in their system only to ensure that you do not receive any more emails by mistake. These addresses will not be used in any other way.

 

Payment & Social Security Number

When you make a purchase from us, information about you and your order is stored. This information is Address, email, phone number and order content. This is to be able to handle purchases and provide support for previous purchases. This information is stored for accounting reasons and indefinitely in our e-commerce system. In connection with a new order, the same information that you receive in your confirmation email is also sent to our order picker so that they can administer your order. You can request an extract of this information and we can delete your email from orders afterwards. However, after this, we will no longer be able to help you with support issues regarding previous purchases.

Other personal data is never handled by us but directly with Klarna, which handles our payment solution via the Klarna Checkout service. We never see or access card details or personal data that you enter in connection with the execution of your order.

 

Export

We sell to the entire EU and Norway and in the event of orders outside the EU, the goods are sold without Swedish VAT. When purchasing from another EU country, Swedish VAT is paid as usual. If you have a VAT number, please email us for more info.

Other

We reserve the right to any typographical errors and changes to technical data that are beyond our control.

Make an order

Always review your order in your cart before checkout. We're currently using Klarna as our checkout solution for Germany. After completing your purchase in Klarna Checkout you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your placed order. If not, please double check your spam folder.

Excluding VAT for orders outside the EU

All orders outside the EU will be sold excluding VAT. This will be subtracted from all orders automatically on our page by identifying your browsing country. You will be asked to pay the tax amount by your national border control before the order is successfully delivered to your nearest post office.

Delivery

We're using DHL to carry our goods around Europe. The shipment will be using DHL Parcel Connect, which means it will be shipped to your nearest post office or postal service store. This will be selected automatically, corresponding to your nearest DHL Parcel Connect provider.

Estimated delivery time is around 4-7 days if the shipment is transferred accordingly.

In order to be noticed when your order has arrived at your nearest post office we need your phone number.

Shipping cost

Shipping costs for Norway are a flat rate of around NOK 270. You could always make bigger orders with friends in order to save more on the shipping cost.

Track your shipment

We're currently working with our live tracking solution. In the meantime you will have to accept all confirmations we send you after fully filling your order and sending it out.

If your package hasn't arrived within the time span we strive for you are definitely free to contact us and we will help localizing your shipment and its current status.

Not collected orders

If you don't pick up your package within 2 weeks after arrival at the post office it will be automatically sent back to us. For all orders returning back to us we will charge a fee of NOK 800 to cover our shipping costs and additional administration. Once the order is returned back to us it will be closed. If you want to make a similar order you will have to place the order again to receive a new order number.

Prices for non-EU countries are displayed excluding VAT. Due to currency rates our prices may change weekly.

Payment

Since we're using Klarna Checkout you will be offered a number of options to pay for your order.

Damaged goods

Credentials & Payment info

Once you complete a purchase from us, some information will be stored along with your order information. All info regarding sensitive information about social security number and credit card info will solely be handled by our checkout solution Klarna. We have no access to this information and it will not be stored on our servers in any way.

The only thing we will store on our servers is your Name, email, address, telephone and order content to be able to serve you as a customer. This information will be stored due to the Swedish account Act. If you still want to remove your history of data you can contact us with a request and we will help you discard your personal data in order to remove your personal info attached to your orders.

Export and VAT

When we're selling to Norway we are selling to a country outside the EU. That means that we will be selling goods without VAT included in the prices.

 

Other

Please note that some product info could be wrong and our prices are constantly changed due to campaigns and currency changes.

 

Safety first

Please advise that all kinds of board sports are performed at your own risk. Make an order

Always review your order in your cart before checkout. We're currently using Klarna as our checkout solution for Finland. After completing your purchase in Klarna Checkout you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your placed order. If not, please double check your spam folder.

 

Delivery

We're using DHL to carry our goods around Europe. The shipment will be using DHL Parcel Connect, which means it will be shipped to your nearest post office or postal service store. This will be selected automatically, corresponding to your nearest DHL Parcel Connect provider.

Estimated delivery time is around 5-8 days if the shipment is transferred accordingly.

In order to be noticed when your order has arrived at your nearest post office we need your phone number.

Shipping cost

Shipping costs for Finland are a flat rate of €15. You could always make bigger orders with friends in order to save more on the shipping cost.

In case you order electric boards there will be an additional fee of 5€ due to additional weight and DHL charges.

Track your shipment

We're currently working with our live tracking solution. In the meantime you will have to accept all confirmations we send you after fully filling your order and sending it out.

If your package hasn't arrived within the time span we strive for you are definitely free to contact us and we will help localizing your shipment and its current status.

Not collected orders

If you don't pick up your package within 2 weeks after arrival at the post office it will be automatically sent back to us. For all orders returning back to us we will charge a fee of €70 to cover our shipping cost and additional administration. Once the order is returned back to us it will be closed. If you want to make a similar order you will have to place the order again to receive a new order number.

Prices

All our prices are VAT included. There will be no additional tax added to your order once it reaches the border of Finland. Due to currency rates our prices may change weekly.

Payment

Since we're using Klarna Checkout you will be offered a number of options to pay for your order.

Damaged goods

In case your goods show up damaged you need to report this immediately at the post office, who will help you file a report.

Complaints

If you discover something inaccurate in your order. It can be wrong delivered items, defective or in other ways don't match your order you should contact us and file a report. If the goods are damaged upon transportation you need to report this at your post office since it's something DHL are responsible for. In order for us to proceed we need a damage report ticket number which you will receive from DHL.

All complaints to us are to be reported within 10 days.

Once we have accepted your complaint we will help you sort it out and get the correct or new goods you need.

Return/Regret order

Of course you can regret your order and ship it back to us if you want. You have 30 days to make up your mind about an order you have received. If you decide to return it you need to make sure it hasn't been used or has any broken seals. The stuff you want to return should be unused, packed really well and returned to us. Please enclose a copy of your delivery note. That way we can associate you with the correct order.
