Heartwood Astro Dogs 8.0″ Complete

Astro Dogs from Heartwood is a nice board with a deep concave with SciFi vibes right through. The deeper concave gives you a little more opportunity to get a little more power in your flips. A story about when man was no longer a dog's best friend. The series comes in four different sizes.

Just like before, they have continued with the inventive recipe of 7 layers of Canadian maple with really hard epoxy in between. But unlike the creamy layers in a really good lasagna, Heartwood's boards are rock hard and that gives you a real pop. Three randomly colored layers make the board a little extra unique when you've worn it down a bit. Astro Dogs comes in sizes 7.75, 8.0, 8.25 and 8.5 to suit all types of riders out there. The color of the graphics is unique for each size, however. This one is in the 8.0″ format with a length of 31.6875″ and a wheelbase of 14.25″.

The board comes in two complete versions. You can choose between Bedrock's standard trucks or a hollow model. The hollow version is lighter in weight. Regardless, both options have a good rebound in the bushing, which gives you good control and feel when you're riding.
