When talking bushings or wheels are often referred to as what is called rebound. It is basically a measure of how well the material flexes back. So basically you can have different bushings with the same duro but they can behave very differently. A cheap bushing that you might get on a simpler complete board if you shop in a regular sports store is usually of lower quality as this is something that the manufacturer saves a little money on. It is something that they think people might not care about that much. But since we are nerds and better than a sports store we really know that it can make a big difference 🙂

In other words, duro is a measure of how much force is required to compress the material while rebound is a measure of how well the material springs back, which is ultimately what really matters. For the best type of bushing, you should go for a bushing that is of the SHR type, for example, which indicates that it is a Super Rebound Bushing.
