Heartwoods Fail Safe is a series of protectors with really nice comfort. The knee protectors have good impact protection, which means you can throw yourself on your knees if things go wrong. Thanks to the protectors having a nice neoprene pocket, you can choose to insert them into the leg if you are going to ride in shorts. If you choose to ride with pants, you can use the protectors without this sleeve and just insert them on the outside of the leg. Regardless, you have a protector that is light in weight and at the same time flexible. Heartwood's protector fits comfortably and ensures that you are safe the next time you go out.

Once you have used them for a while, you can put them in a laundry bag and run them in the washing machine at 30° if you want to make them smell like fabric softener again. A tip is to save the mesh bag that the covers come in so you automatically have a suitable laundry bag.

The Heartwood Fail Safe Equipment is a great investment. We know crashes are a fact from time to time and it happens to everyone. That's why we made our failsafe kneepads. Quality construction for excellent performance to withstand heavy hits and epic fails. Our pads use a neoprene cover on the back to keep the pad in place even better. Strong velcro straps will lock you in. Once the pads start stinking just throw it in the washing (just make sure to use low temperature) and the odor will be gone. Pads have a contoured shape with seamless interiors for amazing fit & comfort. You could practically wear them in your sleep.

So how to find your size? You could probably use the same size on the pads as you would use on your pants.
