Heartwoods Fail Safe is a series of protectors with really nice comfort. The knee protectors have good impact protection, which means you can throw yourself on your knees if things go wrong. Thanks to the protectors having a nice neoprene pocket, you can choose to insert them into the leg if you are going to ride in shorts. If you choose to ride with pants, you can use the protectors without this sleeve and just insert them on the outside of the leg.
