Camber is a type of shape on the board itself. If you look at the board from the side, the highest point is in the middle of the board and the lowest points are at the far end of each side. The board is therefore arched upwards. Boards are usually constructed this way when you want to give them a lot of flex<\/a>A board like this is also easier to pump speed with.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Camber is really nice for those who want a comfortable cruiser. If you want to go fast on hills or slide, a camber can instead be a bit swaying and wobbly. In that case, the opposite type of board is better suited; rocker<\/a>.<\/p>\n
