It is basically a measure of how well the material flexes back. So basically you can have different bushings with the same duro but they can behave very differently. A cheap bushing that you might get on a simpler complete board if you shop in a regular sports store is usually of lower quality as this is something that the manufacturer saves a little money on. It is something that they think people might not care about that much. But since we are nerds and better than a sports store we really know that it can make a big difference \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>In other words, duro is a measure of how much force is required to compress the material while rebound is a measure of how well the material springs back, which is ultimately what really matters. For the best type of bushing, you should go for a bushing that is of the SHR type, for example, which indicates that it is a <em><strong>Super Rebound Bushing<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stands for Super High Rebound and is a measure of how well your bushings spring back. If you buy a cheap board from a sports shop or somewhere else where they are not as geeky as at Boardlife, they usually have simpler bushings on them.
