The wheelbase affects how quickly the board turns. A short wheelbase gives a shorter turning radius and a longer board gives a larger one. Just like a long truck requires a longer distance to turn around compared to a smaller car. In skateboarding, the wheelbase is something that can affect the agility of the turns and thus the stability. If you have a shorter distance between the trucks, you may also need to focus on keeping balance in another direction, which you may not really need on a super long board.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This concept refers to the distance you have between your trucks.
