Boardlife and the Exway Flex

We've praised them before, but it's time again because Exway is now releasing its latest generation of e-skate. In the shadow of Boosted, who in the spring of 2020 suddenly announced that they will no longer continue, stood both snowboarders and us as sellers with dropped chins. A brand that has been a leader for so long suddenly went to the grave. What happens next is still unclear, but now that the mourning work has stopped, we suddenly feel very motivated. Exway comes with its own version of an e-skate flex. The board we would like to say replaces Boosted without discussion as it is sharper at all points on its specs. You get a flexible board with a range and maximum speed that defeats Boosted Stealth itself.

New Features

Well, in addition to these points, you have improved the motherboard or the so-called ESC for those who are nerds and know what it means. At least now you know it's the same thing. You get more powerful batteries that should have better monitoring of the cells while it contains more gunpowder than in the previous version. If the previous X1 Pro took you a distance of 2 km, you can now actually go closer to 3,5 km on a single charge. This means that you can now cope with a distance relationship better while you can visit relatives who live further away.

In my opinion, battery capacity has always been a point that one likes to prioritize. Of course, on some very small e-skates it can be nice when they are light and handy, but in most cases it is nice to be able to ride a little as you want without having to nervously check the battery percentage.

Well, this is what has changed in the past:

  • Longer range
  • Flex in the board
  • Than smart sensors in the battery
  • new truckto be easier to combine with bushings of other makes
  • Easier replaceable components and battery packs
  • The speed is slightly lower, but you instead gain it back with increased range.

Cheaper ?!

Many people are probably wondering now why the new Flex is cheaper than the previous version… because we did too. This is largely because the deck's construction is in wood and not in a molded shape as before where everything was more complicated and expensive to make. This plank is made of wood and fiberglass to give it its flexible properties and that is a big part of the price difference. So just to thank and receive. With this board, you save even more petrol money, parking fees, congestion tax, bus ticket or other mode of transport that you usually pay for. This is a way to get around that is not only fun for the wallet but also for the environment and you as a freedom-seeking board skier.

summarized

We have ridden a lot on the Exway X1 Pro and we have loved it. The silent brushless motors and the reliable battery have made the journey a joy. A board that goes very fast if you want. Despite its top speed of 46 jerks, that board has a surprisingly reliable and safe construction that means that you have good control at very high speeds. You have a lot to thank the stiffer plank for. So even though the new Flex has a slightly lower top speed, we do not think it does anything as you probably prefer nice handling at other speeds and considering its flex, it is made for a sharper cruising comfort. Note that for that reason you should always follow speed recommendations. If you want to drive faster than 25km / h, you should drive on the road. Regardless, it's never wrong with nice torque if you want to make an elegant overtaking.

Exciting pictures on Exway Flex

Yes what do you say, Exway Flex is clearly a board that fills a vacuum with a bang after the extremely popular Boosted Stealth.

For those of you who have now decided, you have Exway Flex here. Note that the new Flex will arrive at the end of May in a limited edition, but you can order now so you will surely get one when they arrive!
