Dimensions of the board

A board is measured in many more ways than its width and length. To an untrained eye, most boards can look very similar. But once you get started with your skiing, you realize that small differences in dimensions and construction can be of great importance.

GOOD TO KNOW

The dimensions below can be seen as recommendations. They are also adapted for a normal tall person. If you are shorter or longer than the average, you can take this into consideration when choosing your deck.

7.5 ″ - 8.25 ″

STREET SKATE

For those who focus on street skate you need a board where you can feel comfortable. Street is about being creative and adapting its surroundings to a place for skate and new challenges. Stairs, rails and many other permanent obstacles that exist.

This in turn means that you would like a board with low weight and which is not too heavy or large to rotate or flip. Especially since there are usually small margins to catch up with as many or tight tricks as possible. A deck that is between 7.5 ″ and 8.25 ″ are better suited Street Boards.

ALLROUND SKATE
